Purpose 20bp Ladder is ideal for determining the size of double-stranded DNA from 60 to 300 base pairs.
Detection Method Fluorometric
Characteristics The ladder consists of 13 linear double-stranded fragments. The 100bp and 200bp fragment are present at increased intensity to allow easy identification. All fragments are precisely quantified and mixed during the production. For 5 μL loading, all fragments except 100bp and 200bp are 40ng. The 100bp and 200bp fragment is 100ng. This ladder is pre-mixed with loading dye and is ready to use.
13 DNA Fragments (bp): 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220, 240, 260, 280, and 300
100bp and 200bp Bands: 100ng/5 μL
Other Bands: 40ng/5 μL

Application Notes Recommended Loading: 5 μL/Lane.
Add 5 μL ladder directly to each well. You may need more or less than 5 μL of ladder, depending on well size and level of intensity needed to visualize the bands.
Recommended Loading: 5 μL/Lane, 8cm, 4% Agarose Gel, 1×TBE, 5V/cm, 1h.
Comment

Do not heat before loading.
For quantification, adjust the concentration of the sample to equalize.
Visualize DNA by staining with ethidium bromide or with SYBR Green I.
