Immunogen Ferret IgA alpha (alpha chain).
Purification Prepared from monospecific antiserum by Immunoaffinity Chromatography using Ferret IgA coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.

Application Notes Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoperoxidase electronmicroscopy and Immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody basedenzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1/10,000-1/50,000. Western blot: 1/1,000-1/5,000.

Other applications not tested.
Otimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Reconstitution Restore with 1.0?mL of deionized water (or equivalent).
Concentration 1.0 mg/mL
Buffer 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride,?pH 7.2, containing 10?mg/mL BSA (IgG and protease free) as stabilizer and 0.01?% (w/v) thimerosal as preservative.
Preservative Thimerosal (Merthiolate)
Precaution of Use Biohazard Informations: This product contains thimerosal which is hazardous.
Handling Advice Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Dilute only prior to immediate use
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Do NOT add Sodium Azide! Use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase.
Storage 4 °C/-20 °C
Storage Comment Store vial at 2-8 °C prior to restoration. For extended storage add glycerol to 50 % and then aliquot contents and freeze at -28 °C or below. This antibody is stable for one month at 2-8 °C as an undiluted liquid.
