Purpose Rinbonuclease Inhibitor
Specificity Ribonuclease Inhibitor specifically inhibits RNase A, RNase B, and RNase C. It is not effective against RNase 1, RNase T1, S1 nuclease, RNase H and aspergillus-originated RNase. It has no inhibition effect on DNA Polymerase, AMV, M-MLV, SP6, T7 and T3 RNA Polymerases.
Characteristics Ribonuclease Inhibitor is a recombinant protein purified from E. coli strain carrying human placenta ribonuclease inhibitor gene.
Unit Definition One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to inhibit 5 ng RNase A by 50%.
Application Notes In vitro inhibition of ribonuclease, cDNA synthesis and in vitro transcription and translation.
