Inhibitor of TNF- processing (IC = 100 nM), similar to TAPI-0 (Cat. No. 2067-1), but more stable in tissue culture and in vivo. Inhibits TACE and other metalloproteases. Blocks release of TNF- (IC = 50-100 M), APP (1-8 M), IL6R (5- 10 M), TNFRI (5 -10 M), TNFRII (25 -50 M), and ObRa (leptin receptor), but not CSF-1, from cells in culture
